Senior Pastor: Provides spiritual oversight and leadership direction to church leaders and the congregation. Leads in the planning and operation of church activities to encourage spiritual maturity and lead those outside of the church to come to know the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

African Heritage Network (AHN), Free Methodist Church USA February 2016- Present Director of Public Relations

As the Director of Public Relations I am responsible for marketing the network and our sponsored events. I also work closely with others on the Executive Leadership team to plan our annual conferences and other events.

MEG Board, DC/MD

September 2021 - June 2023

As the chair of my local MEG Board I coordinate the interviewing of the pastors in our district to help discern how the Lord may be using them and to see that help to ensure that they have resources they need to have a healthy personal life and thus a healthy ministry. In additional, we also interview prospective CMS and Elders to discern their readiness for further ministry leadership.

VISION FOR AHN

Having served the AHN for 7 years now, the biggest challenge that I see for the upcoming director is to build a stronger community among the membership. My own experience with the AHN has been marked by the support of other FMC pastors and leaders in the AHN who have prayed for, supported and encouraged me. Previous leadership has taken on this task and I strongly believe it must be taken further so that new and prospective members will find community in the AHN that goes beyond our annual gathering.
