Fred TenEyck is from Maryland and has served as a pastor for nearly 20 years with the last 10 years served in the Free Methodist Church. He has also served on the Leadership Board for the African Heritage Network of the FMC (AHN) since 2017 and was elected in 2023 serve as the Director of the AHN.

In May 2024, Fred launched The Bridge in Kent, Washington alongside his wife, Aretha. Together they are building a healthy community that experiences and shares God’s love.

In September, 2025, Fred began serving Seattle Pacific University as the Campus Pastor & Director of Student Ministries.

Fred’s passion is to help believers grow in their relationships with God, lead unbelievers to know Jesus for themselves, and restore the unchurched back into a relationship with God in a healthy community of other believers.
